The Skinny
Five big names in rock and blues are coming together on August 5 for the Rock N' Blues Fest at the Palms Resort Casino. They are among the crowd that thinks that, "Blues will be around forever." (Yep, that's a direct quote.) If you agree, maybe this is just the crowd you need to be a part of Sunday.

- The Johnny Winter Band may be among the biggest names at the show. He was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 2003 and ranked 74th in Rolling Stone's Magasine's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time."
- Edgar Winter will also be there, famous for playing the keyboard, saxophone and percussion. Yeah, let us know when you can do it all at once buddy!
- Rick Derringer is yet another American entertainer in the pack. Formerly a member of the "The McCoys" who had the #1 song "Hang on Sloppy" that was unfortunately out-shined quickly by the Beatles. We know... shocking.
