The Environment:
FiAMMA Trattoria Las Vegas has a café, bar and lounge, split-level dining room, and a private screening room. That's a lot of possibilities! And they're all fancy!
Why We Dine:
FiAMMA Trattoria Las Vegas is fine romantic dining at it's finest. Well, the finest at the MGM at least.
- Fancy Flames: In the FiAMMA Las Vegas lounge, you can sit fireside and cozy up to your date over a martini and calm background music. Unless she ordered a beer and doesn't like to cuddle in public. Who can blame the girl? At least you'll still be staying warm somehow. When you sit too close to each other with a fire around you can get sweaty anyways. Nobody wants a sweaty couple in a fancy restaurant.
- Romantic Dining: FiAMMA Las Vegas has fancy Italian dining that we can get for around $50 a person instead of $200 a person. If we have to be romantic, it's going to be more like ballin' on a budget. The Bellagio will probably be crowded anyways.
- Delightful Desserts: Finish off a romantic meal at FiAMMA Trattoria Las Vegas with dessert. The Panna Cotta is always a hit, with marscopone, sweet figs and honey. The tiramisu is a panty dropper as well. You really can't go wrong with any of these desserts though.
Inside Knowledge:
FiAMMA Restaurant Las Vegas opened after the FiAMMA in New York became such a success when it debuted in 2002. Fiamma Trattoria Las Vegas adds "a dash of Soho style to the Las Vegas experience." So they say. But we go to Vegas so that we don't have to go to New York. That's the whole point.
We Recommend:
- Lobster Gnocchi: If you're into that kind of thing. It's the favorite of all the gnocchi, but you can also get a trio of gnocchi at FiAMMA Italian Las Vegas Restaurant, if you're looking for variety. It is the spice of life after all. So they say...
- Short Rib Anything: Braised short rib and the short rib ravioli are both big hits. The ravioli is one of the FiAMMA Las Vegas signature dishes, so if you don't try it, you must be crazy.

Had a fantastic time at this restaurant. The space is large and amazing. Contempory but still a little classic. The tables and seating arrangements are very comfortable and you can hear yourself think and talk to people. The food is skillfully prepared with top notch ingredients and the portion sizes are quite nice. The pastas really are fantastic, but the quality of the meats and seafood are truly what shine here. Wine list and the knowledge of the servers about the wine is quite good. Something for everyone in all price ranges on the large list. Service was perfect, knew just when to come around...maybe a tad on the slow slide but you can tell that is the way they do it. Desserts were light, amuzing, and finished the meal off perfectly. Would go back to this restaurant every time on the south side of the strip!
