The Skinny
Hyakumi Las Vegas serves guests the freshest seafood on the Strip! Not a fan of rubbery textures and slimy fish? Take a seat at one of the grills where a friendly Chef will greet you shortly as he introduces you to a new culinary experience known as Teppan Yaki! Stop by Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar Las Vegas if you just won big bucks at those famous Vegas casinos. If not, keep walkin', this place is pretty overpriced compared to your average hole-in-the-wall sushi joint.

The Environment:
You can usually spot an Asian restaurant from a mile away and Hyakumi Las Vegas is no exception. The wood tones are incorporated through the bamboo accents and hardwood floors. Having a meal at Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar Las Vegas is actually quite relaxing since the place is designed after a Japanese garden setting. Whether you're enjoying a few plates of fresh fish at the sushi bar or intensely watching the skilled chefs prepare your food, you'll enjoy the casual and relaxing atmosphere at Hyakumi Restaurant Las Vegas.
Why We Dine:
Dining at Hyakumi Las Vegas empties our wallets fairly quickly, but we still find ourselves going back for the excellent service and delectable food.
- Entertaining Chefs: The chefs at Hyakumi Restaurant and Sushi Bar Las Vegas are almost like mini celebrities to loyal diners. They're friendly, entertaining, and make great conversations with customers. If you're a frequent guest, the chefs at Hyakumi Restaurant Las Vegas will often remember you.
- Menu Selection: The wide selection of food at Hyakumi Restaurant Las Vegas is excellent for picky eaters. Not all your friends love raw fish the way you do. The great menu allows you or your friends to indulge in delicious sushi, fresh seafood, marinated beef dishes from the Japanese grill, noodles, and savory soups. The possibilities are endless.
- Waiter Service: In addition to the Japanese tea garden inspired venue, the staff members at Hyakumi Restaurant Las Vegas are dressed in traditional Japanese costumes. The friendly and attentive waitresses not only dress the part but also deliver impeccable service to customers.
Inside Knowledge:
Don't expect any happy hour specials at Hyakumi Las Vegas. Long gone are those affordable 50% rolls!
We Recommend:
- Toro: Well, it's usually hit or miss at Hyakumi Las Vegas. Not sure what Toro is? Up until recently, neither did we! Toro is a slice of the fatty belly of the bluefin tuna. We suggest you order a plate of this local favorite in addition to another filling dish because at Hyakumi Japanese Restaurant and Sushi Bar Las Vegas, three Toro slices go for $50! Yes, you read correctly! 5o dollars!
- Teppan Yaki Dinner: Although some may question its flavors, most will find the Teppan Yaki dinner specials to be the best deal at Hyakumi Restaurant Las Vegas. For around $50 (the same price as three pieces of Toro), you'll be able to enjoy your choice of Miso Shiru or chicken soup, a marinated cucumber salad with crab meat, main course selection composed of Japanese veggies with your choice or meats or seafood, and a sweet dessert to finish.
