The Environment:

Redwood Bar and Grill Las Vegas is pretty much a romantic hot spot in Downtown Vegas, but don't wait until you have a hot date to eat here. Because really ladies, some men find it a little off-putting to see you ravishing a rare steak. Some like it, but if yours doesn't, come with your girlfriend, or the mother that won't judge you for eating just a little too much, a little too fast.

Why We Dine:

We generally go to Redwood at the California Hotel when we want a quality steak dinner, but we're not trying to pay out the butt. Because let's face it, we can't afford that.

• Magnificent Meat: Redwood Bar and Grill Las Vegas might have bar and grill in the name, but steak is really their game. Prime ribs, porterhouse steaks, filet mignons, and ribeyes. They do lots of cuts, lots of cooks with lots of different cows. 
• Scrumptious Seafood: Like any good steakhouse, the Redwood at the California Hotel has a few other menu items worth trying, and those are the lobster and the crab legs.
• Getting Tired of Chicken: Basically, you can get chicken everywhere you go in Vegas, and most people really do. So when we go to Redwood Bar and Grill Las Vegas, a steakhouse, we try to avoid the chicken and fish here. Go steak and lobster or go home.

Redwood Restaurant Las Vegas has a special 18 oz porterhouse for $24. Soup, steak and dessert, for $24? Yes please.
